Community Service Learning: SVL1001, SVL2001
Returning undergraduate students have two CSL graduation requirements::

SVL1001 Learning and Writing About Community Service, a graded, one-credit course on social responsibility and active citizenship, usually taken in conjunction with ENG1030, Communication Skills

SVL2001 a one-term service placement at a local nonprofit agency and related academic and reflection assignments in conjunction with a course or internship

You need to complete both requirements in order to receive your degree.

Incoming Freshmen
You need to complete CSL1001 in order to receive your community service-learning credit

You may register for either course during the first two weeks of each term at the Feinstein Community Service Center. If you have any questions, please call the Feinstein Center.
